we have 4 win200 servers
on 2 of them oracle setup runs from CD
on 2 other PC oracle setup does`nt runs
(autoruns runs but setup doesn`t)

whats the problem???

it's 2 pentium 4 !!!! ( no ? )

if yes:

Rename each copy of the symcjit.dll to symcjit.old

Right. Check if you have Pentium IV CPU's in these servers. If so, follow the guidelines to overcome this problem as described Here

If you don't have Pentium IV, then try to run the setup executable from cd_rom:installwin32setup.exe instead of cd_rom:setup.exe

Pls Iwant install oracle8i in wen2000 server but i can't install pls send me steps for install oracle server and parameter to setup database network
