I can open this file in notepad but it is in coded language.
Secondly I viewed some error messages in :
Component Services > Event Viewer (local) > Application. These are as below.

I tried to open CTL1ORCL.ORA but both notepad and wordpad refused to open it. I think it is control file. Please let me know if it helps.

U'll try to open redo log and control file !!!
it's two binary files ! never edit them ...
run
cmd
DOS>svrmgr
SVRMGR> connect internal
SVRMGR> startup
and give us the error ...
