Hello All,

Our management in a remote city has given us a MS Excel file having a sheet namely 'DATA'. They have asked us to configure ODBC enabling this file to refresh data from their Oracle 8i DB. The machine we are running this XLS file has Oracle 8 Client, successfully accessing data thru' SQL Plus.

Please tell us how to configure this XLS file to the remote database?

Thanks in advance,

You can do this using ORAEXCELLITE, which u can get it from Kevinloney.com / a free cd that will be shipped with ORACLE 8i DBA handbook

See if that works..
