Hi,

My System TEMP tablespace grow and would to clear the TEMP tablespaces. I understand TEMP tablespace is maintain by "SMON". However, I couldn't wait until "SMON" is awake to perform the task. May I know is there anyway to CLEAR the TEMP tablespaces manually?

restart the database
or
coalesce the tablespace

alter tablespace TEMP default storage (pctincrease 0);
