Hi,
Recently one of our oracle 8.1.7 servers on NT went down and they wanted me to take the oracle NT export file (full export) and then import it into a solaris 8.1.7 database. I'm doing a full import, into a fresh database. But during the import process, the solaris oracle import is trying to create the tablespaces. However its using the windows directory locations to create the tablespaces (such as e:oracledatadat1.dat and so on) and fails. How do I make the import use the solaris path for creating tablespaces???
Thanks

create the tablespaces in solaris DB with the same name like the ones in windows DB.
then do the import.
