Hi,

First you MUSTN'T consider Oracle as you consider MSSQL. Oracle has its owns architecture, which doesn't depend on the OS.
If you wish to add a database, it problably means that u are currently using the default provided one, so you must know that creating a database is much too complex to get explained in a faq.
There is an assistant in Oracle 9 which allows to create a new database, but this is the "bad way" to work with this SGBDR.
I recommend you buy a good book referenced at OTN, because even if you success in installing a new BDD, you will soon have new problems that u won't know how to solve...

Good lick, and BE brave ;o)
